3 1/2 cups flour
1 pkg Red Star Quick Rise yeast
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
Cinnamon sugar and softened butter

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk 1 1/2 cups of the flour and yeast together. Set aside.
In a sauce pan, heat the water, milk, sugar, melted shortening and salt to 120º.
Add to the flour mixture and mix. Add in egg. Beat 1/2 minute on low speed of the mixer and then 3 minutes on high. By hand, mix in the remaining flour. Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise in a warm place until double in size; about 25-30 minutes.
Punch down; divide into two parts. Roll each into a rectangle about 14x7". Spread with softened butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll up from the long side. Pinch sides together. Cut into 1 inch rolls. Lay out in greased pan. Repeat. Let rise in a warm spot until double in size, about 20-30 minutes.
Bake at 375º for 18-20 minutes.
