4 cups all purpose flour
2 cups soften butter or margarine
2 cups light brown sugar
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups raisin or cranberries
4 large eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350°F.
2. Lightly grease two cookie sheets.
3. Cream together the butter and sugar with a hand held mixer. Mix until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
5. Add flour and salt. Mix well.
6. Stir in oats and raisins or cranberries.
7. Drop dough on a baking sheet using a tablespoon. Make sure cookies are 3 inches apart.
8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown and set. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
9. Cool completely before placing in a cookie jar.
