1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º - Prepare 2 cookie sheets with parchment or sprayed foil.
Using a mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add the eggs and combine well with a large wooden spoon.
Then add the maple extract and the bourbon stirring in really well.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.
Add the dry ingredients to the batter and mix until you have a
sticky dough. Add the pecan pieces and bacon to the batter - mix well.
Scoop the cookie dough by the Tbsp onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Check at 10 minutes due to some
ovens cook hotter than others.

Personal Notes:
These were my cookies that won best cookie at our family Christmas Bake Day of 2017. They are especially good, while still warm, with a glass of milk OR bourbon :)
