2 ½ c. all purpose flour
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c. (12 oz. package) Nestlé semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
1 c. quick oats

COMBINE: flour and baking soda in small bowl. Beat butter, peanut butter, sugars and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs; beat in flour mixture. Stir in 1 c. morsels and oats; freeze until slightly firm, not hard.

ROLL: 1 ½ inch balls; press down slightly on ungreased cookie sheet. Roll another 1½ ball and cut into ½, attach to first ball as the ears. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

BAKE: preheated oven 350º for 10-15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

MICROWAVE: remaining morsels in heavy-duty (Ziploc) bag for 45 seconds, knead. Microwave in additional 10-20 second intervals kneading after each until chocolate is smooth. Cut corner of bag and pipe to create Mickey Mouse face. Allow time for chocolate to set.
