1 cup margarine
1 cup suger
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
ICING
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
3 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp food coloring
1 tbsp almond extract

Directions:

cream margarine & sugar until light and fluffy. blend in eggs and vinilla. combine dry ingredients in a seperate bowl, add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients; mix well, chill. roll dough dough out on a lightly floured surfaced to a 1/8 inch thickness; cut with 3-inch assorted cookie cutters. place on un-greased cookie sheets. bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 min. or until edges are lightly browned. for the icing mix all icing ingredients together in a bowl and decorate cookies .
