4 c. All-Purpose Flour*
½ tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Baking Powder
1 ½ c. Lukewarm water
Approximately 3 inches of Oil in the pan for frying

Can substitute Red Mill 1:1 Gluten Free baking Flour or King Arthur Gluten Free Measure for Measure Flour

Directions:

Combine flour, salt, and baking powder
Stir in 1 1/2 cups of lukewarm water
Knead until soft but not sticky
(If sticky add small amounts of flour at a time)
(If dry add a small amount of warm water at a time)
Let sit about 15 - 20 minutes
Shape into 3 - 4 inch (diameter) balls
Flatten/roll out onto a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness
Make a small hole in the middle
Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
