1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 tsp soda
1 c persimmon pulp
1 egg, beaten
2 c flour
1/2 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 c raisins
1 c pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the soda with the persimmon pulp.
Cream together the butter, sugar, persimmon and egg.
Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix together well.
Add the raisins and pecans.
Drop from teaspoon (or tbsp) on a greased cookie sheet and mash down slightly.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
