1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup white sugar
beat with mixer and then add:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Beat again and then add:
1 cup oil alternately with:
4 cup +4 T flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
Chill

Directions:

Roll into balls and flatten with glass or put through spritz maker at Christmas and dye the usual colors.

Bake at 375 for about 7-8 minutes-watch these-of course, I have burned them.

Makes about 6 dozen or whatever.

With kids in the house, you will make these so often you will memorize this recipe.
