1 cup plus 2 T flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup sugar
¼ cup light brown sugar, packed
½ cup soft butter or margarine (I've always used Imperial margarine)
1 package (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (I use Nestle)
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg
½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Sift flour, salt, soda in large bowl and add sugars, egg, vanilla, and butter.
Mix until smooth with wooden spoon.
Stir in nuts and chips
Drop by teaspoons, 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 7-8 minutes or until golden.
Be careful not to over bake!
Cool on rack.
