4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or shortening, softened
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl and set aside. Combine butter, margarine or shortening, white sugar and brown sugar in mixing bowl and beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture and add chocolate chips. Drop dough by 1/4 cup measure 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake for 12-12 1/2 minutes at 375º until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes.
