• ½ cup butter
• ½ cup chocolate chips
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup cocoa powder
• 1 cup all-purpose flour

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt and the
baking soda, set aside.
3. Add the butter and the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Heat until
melted, 30 to 60 seconds.
4. Stir in the sugar, eggs and the vanilla until blended.
5. Stir in the remaining dry ingredients just until combined.
6. Scoop rounded tablespoons of batter onto the baking sheet 2 inches apart.
7. Bake for 12 minutes.
