6 Granny Smith apples
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, divided
3 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into slices
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into slices

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease an 8x11 baking dish and set aside.
1. Peel, core and cut apples into bite size chunks or slices and place in the prepared baking dish.
2. Sprinkle with tops of the apples with 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 3 Tbsp. butter, cut in pieces.
3. In a medium size mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Add 1/2 cup softened butter to mixture and cut in with a pastry cutter or use your hands until it resembles pea size crumbles. Sprinkle mixture over top of the apples.
4. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the top is golden brown and the apples are soft.
