Wet Ingredient Mix

2/3 c. shortening (butter flavored if you have it)
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp grated lemon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
4 tsp milk

Dry Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix wet ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix dry ingredients in a separate medium bowl.

Gradually add the dry to the wet ingredients. Once completely integrated you can roll the dough out and use cookie cutters for shapes.

Cooks at 375° for 6-8 minutes. Let cook thoroughly before frosting.

Frosting is powdered sugar and milk, adding food dye color as you wish. Frost, decorate and let dry.
