½ lb softened butter
½ c confectioners’ sugar
½ t almond flavoring
½ t vanilla flavoring
2 ¼ cups flour
¼ t. salt
¾ c roasted and ground almonds
extra confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ½ lb softened butter
with ½ c confectioners’ sugar
Add ½ t almond flavoring
½ t vanilla flavoring
Sift and stir in 2 ¼ cups flour
¼ t. salt
Mix in ¾ c roasted and ground almonds
Chill

To Cook:
Roll into 1” balls
Place about 2” apart on a cookie sheet
Bake at 375º for about 10 min, until set, but not brown
Roll in confectioner’s sugar while still warm.
Cool, and roll again.
