Cake:
¾ cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
¾ cup milk
2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt

Crumbs:
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
cinnamon to taste (½ -1 tsp.)
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar and eggs. Add milk. Mix together all dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients. Pour and spread evenly into a greased and floured 9 inch round cake pan. Combine all crumb ingredients and layer on top of cake batter. Bake for 30 minutes at 425º F.

My grandmother, Anna Kupfer made this coffee cake for us often. She had a studio apartment attached to our house on Appleberry Lane and would bring this cake over to our house. She made it for her visitors as well.
