Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Cream together
1/2 lb butter or 1/2 c butter and 1/2 c lard
1 c sugar
1 egg
1/4 c sweet milk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 c flour
(or enough to make a soft ball)

Add to above.

Directions:
Directions:
Chill.
Roll out on floured board.
Cut out cookies and bake on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
Can be doubled.
