2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 Eggs
2 tbl milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans chopped
1 cup dates chopped
2 1/2 cups corn flake crumbs
1 jar maraschino cherries
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together

Blend in eggs, milk and vanilla

Add dry ingredients

Add dates and nuts, mix well

Shape 1 teaspoon of dough into a ball and roll in the crumbs

Place on greased cookie sheet and top with a 1/4 of a cherry

Bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes
