2 cups milk
3 eggs
¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
Pieces bread broken into pieces
Dash of nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, vanilla, and sugar in casserole dish. Stir in the milk. Place bread on top. Push bread down until slightly covered. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place casserole dish in a pan ½ filled with water. Bake at 325º for 50-60 minutes. When knife inserted in center comes out clean.


Options: add ½ cup grape nuts or use Pepperidge farms cinnamon raisin bread in place of the plain bread.
