¾ c. Jif™ Creamy Peanut Butter
½ c. Crisco™ vegetable shortening
1¼ c. firmly packed light brown sugar
3 T. milk
1 T. vanilla extract
1 egg
1¾ c. all-purpose flour
¾ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine peanut butter, Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at med. speed until blended; add egg until creamy. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed until just blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2" apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slighted in crisscross pattern with fork tines. Bake at 375º for 7-8 min. Makes 3 doz. Cool on wire racks. My favorite peanut butter cookie recipe when kids were growing up.
