2 C Yellow Cornmeal
1 tsp. salt or to taste
Boiling Water

Directions:
Directions:
Put meal and salt in bowl and pour in boiling water to make a stiff mush. Shape into patties and fry in hot oil turning once until golden brown. Drain and serve sliced with butter or syrup.
