Grandma's Recipe:
"Melt 1 stick of butter. Remove from heat and stir in one pound of powdered sugar. Stir in 1 (12-14oz) jar of chunk-style peanut butter. Add 3 1/2 cups of Rice Krispies and mix c hands. (She used the c because in health care it means "with", I love that). Roll in balls and dip in chocolate dip. Melt 1 (12 oz package) sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 bar of parafin. Mix and dip balls in with tongs or fork. May use 10 hershey bars and 1/4 bar of parafin instead"

Heather's Recipe:
Melt 1 stick of butter. While on heat, melt one jar of CREAMY peanut butter (chunky makes them too dry) in with the butter. Then, add the package of powdered sugar. Make sure all mixed together and then add the Rice Krispies, 3 1/2 cups. I usually double the recipe. I also use a double boiler, its a must. I do use same amount of chocolate chips and paraffin. Best way to chop paraffin is to shred on the grater. Melts faster. Then I roll the balls. Mom always said I roll too large. Finally, I use two spoons to roll the balls in the chocolate. While balls are waiting, I keep them in the freezer.
