Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 cups of bit-sized broccoli florets (from about 2 bunches)
1/4-1/2 cup of chopped red onion
1/2 cup of sliced almonds or pecans
1/2 cup of crumbled cooked bacon (about 3 slices)
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar to put over top with bacon once salad is mixed.
For the dressing: 1 cup of mayonnaise, I love Hellman's, but you can use Miracle Whip, 1 tsp. of white wine vinegar, 1 tbsp. of sugar or sweetener - salt and pepper and then fix the seasonings as you like.
Toss, top with shredded cheddar and bacon and serve in a pretty clear bowl.
