1 cup Crisco shortening (solid)
l cup brown sugar
l cup white sugar
Mix togetther
Add 2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Mix together all ingredients
Then Add 1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
2 cups Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1 cup angle flake coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix all dry ingredients together Then add to the first.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden grown

My Gram used real lard. I changed to Crisco. I have been tempted to change that
to butter, but I am afraid she would send a lightening bolt down from heaven for
