½ cup Softened Butter
1 cup Granulated Sugar
1 egg
½ tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 cups Flour (sifted)
½ tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients in separate bowl. Slowly incorporate dry ingredients into wet. Mix well. *Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes (until just brown on edges).
* Use icing sugar on counter instead of flour when rolling out dough. It will add a little sweetness to the dough and stop it from becoming to dry.
