½ C Butter at room temperature
½ C Brown sugar
½ C White sugar
1 Egg
1 T Vanilla
1½ C. All purpose flour
½ t. Salt
½ t. Baking soda
1 C White chocolate chips
1 C Dried cranberries
1 C Walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Grease two cookie sheets with butter.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Combine the flour, salt and baking soda; stir into the sugar mixture.
Mix in the white chocolate cis, cranberries, and walnuts.
Drop by heaping spoonful onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for eight to ten minutes.

This is a pretty cookie, and it tastes as good as it looks. I tend to reserve making them only at Thanksgiving and Christmas because they look festive. Well, the truth is, they are so good that I don't want them around much more than that.
They are rich, so one after supper will go a long way toward satisfying your sweet tooth. Man! They are really good!
