2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking Sosa
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 350ºF and line cookie sheets with parchment
Whisk together flour, baking sofa, salt and nutmeg
Mix butter and sugar until smooth. Still in egg and vanilla. Slowly stir in flour mixture
Stir in chocolate chips
Place 12 tablespoons of dough on the cookie sheet about 1/2 inch apart. Press down slightly to flatten
Bake about 6 minutes
Place on cooking rack
Repeat until all the dough is used up!

Paige’s favourite change: bake a dozen now and then leave the uncooked dough in the fridge for fresh baked warm cookies after school.
