GRAMMY"S MAPLE POPCORN Recipe

1 c. maple syrup
2 tbls. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. popcorn kernals, popped

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 300º
In a large saucepan, bring the maple syrup and butter to a boil over medium heat.
Simmer until it reaches 236º on a candy thermometer.
Be attentive to watch for boiling over.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour over the popcorn and stir to evenly coat.
Evenly spread out on a greased cookie sheet.
Heat in oven for 10 minutes.
Turn over.
Return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
