½ cup (Oleo) margarine
½ cup Crisco
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 ¾ cup flour (possibly 2 to 3 more Tbsp)
1 tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, peanut butter, granulated and brown sugar.
Mix to a smooth consistency.
Add vanilla and mix.
Add eggs and mix. Eggs will not mix in completely.
Gradually add flour and mix.
Dough should be firm enough to roll into the palm of your hand into 1” or 1 ½” balls.
If dough is too soft, add more flour by spoonful.
Place on cookie sheet and press with fork dipped in water (Just enough water so it doesn’t stick to the cookie)
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes; add an extra minute or two if they look underdone
