Personal Notes:
Some of my best memories as a child were with my grandma! She loved her grand kids......heck, all kids, deeply! She made our worlds magical when we arrived at her home after driving for an hour...over the river and through the woods..literally! The smells as we arrived were amazing! We could always count on her baking her famous apple pie...with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I have a vivid memory of her pink ice cream scooper and her loading up our plates....what a gift it was to receive that scooper as a gift from her prior to her death.
