2 C flour
1/4 t baking powder
1/8 t salt
1 C butter, softened
3/4 C confectioners sugar
2 t vanilla
1/2 t almond
1 T orange zest
2 C sweetened dried fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Bet the butter and sugar together. Stir in vanilla, almond extract and orange zest. Mix in flour mix and fold in dried fruit.

Divide dough into 2 equal parts and roll into logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 4 hours.

Preheat to 350 degrees. Cut cookie into 1/2 inch slices. Bake for 10 minutes.

2020 is the first year that I can remember in decades that we haven't hosted a Courier Equine Park Christmas party. The Covid virus has changed so many things in our lives.
