Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 stick butter
2 cups celery (green part)
2 cups green onion
2 cartons chicken broth
1 quart oysters incl. liquor (Bodean)
12 cups Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
half cornbread, half herbed

Melt butter in frying pan
Add celery + green onion and wilt (lid on)

Dump limp greens and butter into a large bowl with stuffing mix and fold together, gently now!

Add the chicken broth (or turkey giblet juice if you got it) and the oyster liquor into the mixture until moist, but not too moist... THIS is the most important step. Maybe a carton and a half of broth, maybe two (too moist or too dry and you risk being ridiculed at dinner by your mean uncles).

Add the oysters and fold them in gently

Bake at 350 for 30 mins or until hot and oysters are cooked

Notes:
***add dried sage to the mix if desired
***substitute scratch biscuits and cornbread for store bought stuffing mix if desired her, gently now!
