Ingredients:  
2 1/4c all purpose flour, add another 1/4 to1/2c extra flour depending on preference of texture.
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened (not melted)
3/4c granulated sugar
3/4c packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 package of nestle toll house milk chocolate chips

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl, mix well.
In kitchen aide or large mixing bowl beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
Gradually beat in flour mixture in small increments.
Stir in chocolate chips
Cool batter in fridge for 20-30 minutes
Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes (I usually do 10 minutes)
Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, remove to wire racks to completely cool.

*I prefer to use a stone cookie sheet when baking cookies
