First:

Cube potatoes and boil til soft

2 T butter 1 c milk
2 T flour 2 c grated cheese
1/4 t salt 4 c mayo
dash pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Make a white sauce. Melt butter in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook and sir until thickens and bubbles.

While stirring, add 2 c cheese until melted. Remove from heat.

Mix 2 c buttermilk (I add lemon juice or vinegar to milk) and 4 c mayo until smooth. Add to white sauce. Add to boiled, cubed potatoes. Blend until coated. Pour into pan and sprinkle with cheese. Cook at 350º for 1 hour.
