2 1/2 sticks butter, softened
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar with the whisk attachment at high speed until fluffy; about 15 minutes. Then with mixer on slow, add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla.

In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda and salt.

Gradually add this to the wet ingredients using the paddle attachment until no flour is visible, then stir in chips.

Using a 1/3 cup measure, scoop out dough, roll into a ball. place 1 in. apart on baking sheet, then flatten.

Chill for 1/2 hour.

Bake at 350º for 18-20 min. for large or 10-12 min. for smaller.
