4 C flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 C sugar
1 C butter (Nana used lard or Crisco)
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 C currents
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs in a 1 cup measuring cup and fill with milk.
Mix dry ingredients together then add to eggs and milk mixture and mix till like a pastry...add currents until mixed well. Roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut with round cutter. Bake on a griddle at 350 º flip and cook till light and fluffy.
