1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 Angel food cake
1 c crushed pineapple
1 small jar cherries
1/2 c pecans, finely chopped

Directions:
Cut up angel food cake into squares. Mix cake with pineapple, cherries, and pecans. Serve mixture over ice cream.

Nanny always had this on hand. As well as, cake she had cut up and placed in the freezer that she would take out and add to ice cream when company was over.
