1 cup canola margarine
¾ cup honey
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ cup flour (may use 2 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup raw or toasted wheat germ)
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup raisins (or sunflower seeds or shredded coconut)
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325º

Cream margarine, honey, eggs and vanilla.

Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix well.

Stir in oats, nuts and raisins.

Drop dough on ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.

Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.
