1 C flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 C sugar
2 Tbls of cocoa

1/2 C milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbls melted butter
1/2 C walnuts or pecans

Topping - 1 C brown sugar and 1/4 C cocoa

1 1/2 C boiling water

Sift all dry ingredients
Combine milk, vanilla and melted but
Add to dry ingredients and beat until smooth
Stir in nuts and spread in buttered 6 quart casserole
Add topping
Pour the boiling water
Bake at 350F for 50 minutes
