Ingredients: 8 oz cream cheese, softened 2 sticks butter, softened 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 cups all purpose flour 20 Oreo type cookies, coarsely chopped

Directions:In large bowl beat the cream cheese, butter and sugar using a mixer until well blended. Slowly add flour and mix until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 mins. Chilling the dough is a key step to help the cookies to hold their shape while baking. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and roll dough into balls using a cookie scoop (or 2 tbsp per cookie). Gently press the dough ball down with the back of a spoon to make a cookie shape. Bake 12-15 mins or until edges are lightly browned and center is puffed up. Let them cool for 5 mins before removing from pan and placing on wire rack to finish cooling. |
