1- whole chicken cooked and deboned
2- cans cream of chicken soup
1- small onion chopped finely, or 1/4 cup dried onion flakes
1 -pint sour cream
1- pound grated mild cheddar cheese
1- can mild green chili peppers
1- package (12 count) corn tortillas cut in 1 inch strips
1- cup milk

1.In a large bowl combine the soup, chopped onion, sour cream, green chili peppers and milk.

2.Mix till well blended and creamy.

3.In a 9 x 13 casserole dish layer tortillas, chicken, cheese and liquid mixture. Do a second layering but ending with cheese on top.

4.Cover loosely with foil, bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove foil for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking to lightly brown cheese.
