4 sticks sweet butter, room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp shortening
2 egg yolks
1 cup orange juice
flour, as much as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, and shortening together until smooth. Add yolks and orange juice and mix until juice can't be seen. Add flour until dough is not sticky.

Roll out onto floured surface into 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out figures and decorate.

Bake at 300 F until done.

This recipe is from one of mom's closest friends and coworkers, Tetka Lefterija Jim. Everyone loves these cookies and I always remember both of these wonderful ladies when I make them.
