4 eggs beaten
1 T vanilla

Directions:
Crust
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sugar together. Cut in softened butter. Mix in beaten eggs, and stir together. Add vanilla. Stir in cream. Roll out (have to use a lot of flour) and put in pans. Roll edges over to create a border.

Topping
Cook in heavy kettle until thick on medium-low heat. Stir often as it burns easily. Or you can use the microwave and cook for 6 minutes, stir every 2 minutes until thick. Some microwaves may take longer than 6 minutes.

Pour mixture into crusts and top with cinnamon.

Bake 350º for ~15-18 minutes (until crust is lightly browned).

Enjoy your German heritage! This is my mom's recipe. We bake them about 15 minutes.
