Layer the following in a jar (if making ahead or as a gift)
2 C. All purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
¾ C. cocoa powder
1½ C. sugar
1 C. semisweet chocolate chips

1¼ C, butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In a large bowl, cream the butter, eggs, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients (contents of jar) and combine until well mixed.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto an ungreased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
