2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of cocoa
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of peanut butter
3 cups of quick oatmeal
1 tsp of vanilla

Directions:
Combine sugar, cocoa, and milk in a medium-size pan. Bring to a boil, stirring often to keep from scorching on the bottom. Cook for 1-3 minutes at the boiling stage until it forms a soft ball when dropped in a glass of cold water. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper. Cool Completely. Enjoy!
Note: This is a favorite cookie recipe of Jarrod's. ( He has another name for them but I will not share it with you). I always enjoyed making these for him and quite often he would take some with him when he would return to the University of Alabama after a weekend at home. I do not make them as often now that he is married, but when I do, I always remember them as his favorite. Jarrod is my son and the grandson of Cora Patterson and Braxton Comer Hanks.
