4 cups flour
6 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp anise extract
2 large eggs
Icing: 8 oz conf. sugar
1 tsp anise
boiling water
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, and sugar then mix. Make a well in center add oil milk eggs and anise. Mix and blend gradually stir in flour mixture. When the dough is sticky dip fingers in flour and lunch off small pieces to roll into balls and place on pan. Bake at 375 for 8 min.
Icing- Add boiling water to conf. sugar- color optional- add flavor. Makes thin icing dip each cookie in.
