Ingredients:

2 C butter flavored Crisco
2 C peanut butter
2 C sugar
2 C brown sugar
2 t vanilla
4 eggs
4 C flour
4 t baking soda
2 t salt

2 C chocolate chips (my addition)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugars, shortening, vanilla, and PB
Add eggs
Add flour, salt, baking soda
Drop by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet, if you added chocolate chips

IF you choose to make pure PB cookies, without choc chips, roll into balls, and place on cookie sheet; then use a fork dipped in powdered sugar, to flatten cookie, making a criss-cross indentation

Bake @ 350º for 8min

I have gotten into habit of always using chocolate chips in these, as I believe, everything is better with chocolate!
However, my Mom's always had the powdered sugar criss-cross (:

Both ways, they are melt-in-your-mouth good! Tastes like a Reeses PB cup!!
