1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
2. cups oatmeal
1 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon or (1/2 tsp allspice and cloves each)
1-2 tsp vanilla
1 c. cooked raisins (5 Tbsp juice from raisins)
1 tsp soda added to juice
1/4 tsp salk

Mix ingredients well and drop on greased cookie sheet. Do not over bake. Bake 10-12 minutes in 325 oven. take out while soft and seems like not done.
