1 (16 oz.) can crushed plum tomatoes, undrained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
½ cup tomato paste
¼ cup dry red wine
2 tsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 bay leaf
½ tsp. fresh grounded basil, crumbled
½ tsp. fresh oregano, crumbled
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 cup of medium salsa (optional)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in heavy medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer until , stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes. Serve hot. (Can be frozen in airtight container)
