COOKIE DOUGH:
2 sticks margarine
1 cup shortening
2¼ cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
4½ teaspoons vanilla
5 cups all-purpose flour
2¾ teaspoon baking soda
1½ teaspoon salt


FROSTING:
Powdered Sugar
Water
Dash of salt
Red Food Coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF.

COOKIE DOUGH:
Cream together margarine, shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda and salt.

Do NOT grease cookie sheet.

Drop by teaspoons onto the cookie sheet.

Bake at 375ºF degrees for 10-12 minutes.

FROSTING:
Mix all frosting ingredients noted above until the desired texture to frost the cookies.
