1 cup salad macaroni
¼ white onion, finely chopped
½ green bell pepper
2 T. relish or bread and butter pickles, chopped
½ cup frozen green peas, thawed
1 T. mustard
¼ cup Best Foods mayonnaise
dash of white vinegar
salt and pepper
Hungarian paprika

Directions:
Directions:
1. Boil salad macaroni according to package directions.
2. Combine ingredients in a bowl. Mix together (except paprika).
3. Sprinkle paprika on the top.

Grandma would buy bread and butter pickles from the 99 cent store and chop them up. She would always use Best Foods mayonnaise (dark blue topped one). She also had a container of Hungarian paprika in her kitchen cabinet that she would sprinkle on top of the macaroni salad.
